Former pair of houses dating from the 17th century, altered in the 18th and 19th centuries, and now in use as a shop. Constructed of painted brick with some render, and features plain tiled roofs with coped gable to the left. Laid to an L-shaped plan form, the structure is of two storeys, and features a four-bay front (arranged 2:2), with rusticated stucco quoins to left to ground floor only. Features a moulded wooden eaves cornice. To ground floor are two 19th century shop fronts with narrow pilasters, fascia and cornice, that to the left with four-lights, the other with three. Above the shop windows are two 20th century nameboards, with above those, four glazing bar openings, those to the left being fixed lights, whilst those to the right being sash windows. In the gable end is a 19the century glazed doorway and canted bay shop window. Above this is a glazing bar fixed light with segmental head. The lower range to rear (on Spain Lane), has a 1st floor band. The ground floor has a blocked doorway to the right, with a tripartite glazing bar sash with segmental head and shutters to the left. Further left is a small access doorway. Above these is a further tripartite sash window with a further glazing bar sash to right. The interior retains a turned baluster stair.
