Early 19th century shop buildings at Mercer Row. Separate buildings when constructed, they were in single occupancy at the time of listing in 1974, but have reveted to separate use since then. Both sections are of three storeys, though the right hand section is slightly taller. Both parts are built of brick, now largely painted, and feature pantile roofs. Modern shop fronts are to both sections.
