Full Description

The site of a moat in Scamblesby, which has now been ploughed out and set to crop. {1}{2}{3} The earthworks of the moat are still visible on LIDAR imagery. {4} The southwestern edge of the moat was recorded to be poorly defined during a topographical survey conducted on a parcel of land immediately to the southwest of the main moated area in November 2017. No other associated earthworks were identified during the survey. {5}{6}
