A topographical survey was undertaken on land off Mill Lane, Scamblesby, to preserve by record potential earthworks prior to a residential development. No ridge and furrow earthworks associated with the Medieval settlement of Scamblesby were identified in the survey area. The poorly defined edge of a known infilled moat was recorded, along with two amorphous linear mounds of possibly natural origin. {1}{2}
