Full Description

Several early post-Medieval features were uncovered during a trial trench evaluation on land at St John's Street, Holbeach, in August 2001. The features were encountered cut into a silt deposit at a depth of 900mm below surface level. Three postholes and three pits were identified, from which finds including 16th century pottery were recovered. {1}{2}
