Full Description

Chestnuts Farm was included in a survey of South Lincolnshire farms, as part of a wider study of English Farmsteads. It is thought to have developed from the 19th century, in an evolutionary fashion. {1}{2} Chestnuts Farm, Sapperton. Partially extant 19th century historic farmstead. Dispersed with multiple regular yards. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Located within or in association with a hamlet. {3}
