A detailed gradiometer survey was conducted to inform proposed remedial works to the banks of the Upper River Witham, to the west of Grange Farm, Stoke Rochford. Most of the recorded anomalies clearly related to modern features and activity, with no new archaeological remains of significance encountered, although traces of previously identified medieval lynchets and agricultural activity were noted. {1}
