Considerable processing and analysis of Environment Agency LiDAR data was conducted to assess its potential for topographical mapping and the identification of archaeological sites across an extensive area of Lincolnshire. Initially looking at just the Witham Valley area, further tranches of data gradually extended coverage to the whole of the Lincolnshire Fenland. The project resulted in an extensive GIS layer of the processed LiDAR data for the study area, and succeeded in highlighting the potential that further detailed study of the LiDAR plots could bring. {1}{2}{3}{4}
