Archive for the programme of archaeological excavation, conducted prior to the replacement of an electrical transformer at Hamerton Lane, Horncastle. The groundworks extended beyond the modern disturbance layer, into a buried 'dark earth' layer, but no archaeological features or finds were encountered.
