Abstract/Summary
The archive on a single test pit that was excavated at 8A Chapel Street, Caistor, as part of a application to erect four dwellings. A previous excavation to the south of the site (ELI14266) revealed a east-west ditch (MLI127247), possibly associated with the Roman wall. A possible pit was identified was identified in the test pit in the northwest corner, beneath a layer of buried topsoil. No archaeological features, deposits or finds were encountered.
