Archive for the excavation of six trial trenches and four test pits, dug to inform the proposed construction of a new supermarket on land off Lincoln Road, Washingborough. Significant alluvial deposits covering all of the investigated area were noted, along with the remains of a probable palaeochannel, but no archaeological features or finds were encountered.
