Archive for the site visit, conducted to inspect groundworks for new development on land between Bedford Place and Vine Street, Spalding. All of the excavated footings had already been filled with concrete by the time of the visit, and no archaeological monitoring could therefore be conducted. The only ground deposits visible were the modern layers associated with the previous use of the site as a car park.
