Archive for the excavation of five trial trenches, dug to inform proposed residential development on land at Orchard Nurseries, Foston. A layer of late post-medieval building rubble, likely associated with the demolition of nearby former structures, was noted in the north-east corner of the site, but no archaeologically significant features, deposits or finds were encountered.
