Archive for the excavation of fifteen trial trenches, dug to inform the proposed construction of a new housing development on land off Japan Road and Albion Works, Gainsborough. The investigation identified a single late post-medieval boundary ditch, thought to be associated with the site's previous use as allotments, but no archaeologically significant features, deposits or finds were encountered.
