Abstract/Summary
Archive for the programme of archaeological monitoring and recording, conducted during groundworks for the construction of a new residential dwelling on land at the Charolands Camp Site, Ingham Road, Stow. No archaeologically significant features, deposits or finds were encountered, although an extra layer was noted in the stratigraphy on the southern part of the site. It was thought likely that this layer represented the fill of a natural depression or low lying area of land, although a connection to the remains of the shrunken medieval village of Stow could not be entirely discounted.
