Archive for the excavation of eight trial trenches, dug to inform proposed residential development on land at Holland Park, Spalding. No significant archaeological features, deposits or finds were encountered, although a network of natural palaeochannels was identified. Several ditches, pits and post holes were also recorded, although an assemblage of clearly late post-medieval and modern pottery, CBM and glass recovered from some of these features would attest to their recent origins.
