Report on the detailed gradiometry survey that was conducted to inform proposed development on land to the north of Willingham Road, Market Rasen. Some possible archaeological features were recorded, including a right angled linear feature in the south-east of the site and possible cut features. The linear feature was thought to represent either a former enclosure or field boundary, while the cut features were thought to relate to industrial activity at the adjacent former brickworks. Subsequent trial trenching in this area found that the features identified during the survey were modern and related to drainage of the area and to the early 20th century brickworks (see ELI13129).
