Archive for the excavation of three trial trenches, dug to inform proposed residential development on land off Woodlands Lane, Market Rasen. The trenches were targeted to investigate a number of geophysical anomalies recorded by a prior magnetometry survey (see ELI12417), and confirmed that they were all the result of relatively recent landscaping works associated with the late post-medieval Hamilton Villa Park.
