Report on a fluxgate gradiometer survey, conducted to inform proposed residential development on land at Greetwell Fields, Lincoln. Several discrete linear and rectilinear magnetic anomalies were recorded across the site. The origin of these features could not be determined, however, due to their weak patterning and partial masking by modern agricultural activity. Whilst possibly reflecting archaeological activity, the anomalies could equally represent natural geological features.
