Archive for the excavation of three trial trenches, dug to investigate anomalies revealed by previous geophysical survey, prior to the proposed construction of new grain silos at Wold Grain Storage Ltd., Hemswell Cliff. The geophysical anomalies were shown to be natural in origin, and no archaeological features were encountered.
