Full Description

Oxford Archaeology undertook a programme of trial trenching on land to the west of the A1 Gonerby Moor roundabout, Great Gonerby in September 2006. In Trench One Hundred and Two an undated pit and feature were revealed and in Trench One Hundred and Four an east to west aligned linear feature was found. {1}{2} These features are probably contemporary with the adjacent Iron Age enclosure system (MLI97725), though this cannot be confirmed without dating evidence.
