Full Description

A mid 19th century coach house now used as garage. It was constructed of coursed limestone rubble with red brick dressings and quoins. It has a slate roof and one brick ridge stack. {1}{2} While the rectory itself is shown in historic maps from at least 1772, the coach house seems to post-date the Tithe map of 1848 and is shown on the Ordnance Survey map of 1887. While the building has been subject to several phases of change in use including as a pigsty, the survival of the original room layout and the partial survival of the tack room and open front are notable. {3}{4}
