Full Description

Cropmarks of a possible double-ditched enclosure with associated single ditches, to the north of Waterhill Wood, Brocklesby. The features are visible on the Google Earth satellite imagery layer dating to 2003. The double-ditched feature appears in the north-central part of the field, at first aligned east to west then dog-legging towards the north-east at the western end. A series of fainter, single-ditched linear features seem to connect or lay in close association with the more distinct double-ditched feature. The exact function and origin of the features remains uncertain, however. {1}
