Priory Farmhouse is an early 17th century building, with late 18th century alterations. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and a slate roof, and has an E-shaped plan. It has two storeys and garrets and a five bay front. For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {1} Alterations to the rear gable end of the farmhouse were conducted in late 2019, when two windows and parts of the surrounding walling were removed and replaced with a set of modern concerntina doors. This part of the building was itself a later alteration, and none of the original historic fabric was believed to have been affected by the works. {2}
