Full Description
During a watching brief, ridge and furrow was recorded. This could be seen in an aerial photograph in 1971, and now is no longer visible as earthworks. Within this area approximately 25 sherds of pottery of varying type were recovered. {1}{2}{3}
During trail trenching on land at Poplar Farm, Grantham, evidence of ridge and furrow was uncovered. {4}{5}
