Full Description
A prehistoric land surface capped with apparent flood desposits and found to contain palaeoenvironmental remains including charcoal was noted during exacavation at Holme Farm, West Rasen. It was considered likely that the surface extended beyond the excavated area, however the proposed road scheme on the site was not of sufficient depth to disturb the remains which were left in situ. {1}{2}
