Full Description

An Anglo-Saxon sword approximately 3 feet long and 1.5 inches wide was found in Horncastle and is now in Hull museum. {1} This is probably the sword from the burial noted by T. Sheppard, which was associated with an Anglo-Saxon sword, and two iron socketed spears heads. {2}{3}{4}
