Full Description

Earthwork remains of a mound at Grimsthorpe Park, on the top of the hill named Mill Hill. The mound is flat-topped and measures c.26m across. It is thought to be the remains of a probable mill mound, possibly marking the site of the former medieval Vaudey Abbey Mill. {1}{2}{3}
