Full Description

Earthworks of a possible post-medieval enclosure, to the south-east of Carlby. Visisible as a small, roughly circular enclosure, defined by a single bank measuring 6m in diameter. Identified on aerial photography examined as part of the National Mapping Programme. {1} All of the remains appear to have been removed by more recent development activity, and no trace of the former earthworks can now be discerned on the Google Maps satellite imagery layer or on LiDAR data for this area. {2}{3}
