Full Description
Two earthwork mounds were noted in this area during a site visit conducted in December 2025. They closely resemble the known Bronze Age round barrows located at the eastern edge of Burwell Wood (see MLI43603), and may be the remains of Bronze Age round barrows themselves. Although the mounds cannot be easily seen on aerial photographs taken of this area, their exact positions can be clearly discerned on recent lidar data. {1}
