Full Description
The remains of a possible post-medieval brick kiln, on land to the west of Jerusalem, Skellingthorpe. The feature sits within an area of woodland, known since at least the late 19th century as 'Brick Kiln Holt'. A small, roughly square-shaped earthwork is visible in the rough centre of the woodland on LiDAR imagery, and appears to interrupt the planting rows of the woodland. It may be that this earthwork represents the remains of the former kiln. {1}{2}
