Full Description

A small group of four pits of probable Late Medieval date on land to the south of the A52, Wrangle, encountered during an archaeological excavation in 2005. Artefacts typical of domestic refuse were recovered from the largest of the pits at the northern end of the site, indicating the presence of nearby settlement. {1}{2}
