Full Description

A complex of agricultural outbuildings forming the working part of the 19th century farmstead of Pond Meadow Farm, Toft. The outbuildings comprised an L-shaped north range with a long stable range to the south partially enclosing a crewyard, and two detached barns to the southwest. The outbuildings were variously constructed of red brick and coursed limestone blocks with pitched, gabled roofs of corrugated material or pantiles and date to the 19th or early 20th century. The complex has undergone substantial alterations reflecting the changing agricultural practices during the late 19th and 20th centuries. {1}{2}
