Full Description
A single ditch, 1.6m wide and 0.28m deep was recorded during an archaeological watching brief on a house plot east of The Commons, Main Street, Fulstow in 2016. The ditch had gradually sloping sides and a concave base, and was aligned approximately northwest to southeast. A single sherd of externally sooted Lincoln Shelly Ware pottery was found within the ditch fill, dated to the 9th to 10th century. {1}{2}
