Full Description

Four pieces of prehistoric flint were recovered from the ploughsoil north of Trent Lane/Dunham Road during excavations in 2022. Two possible knives and a flake were considered to be of possible Early Neolithic date, along with a flake of uncertain prehistoric date. It is not uncommon for flints to be found along the bank of the river to the west and in the wider area. {1}{2}
