Description

A geophysical survey was commissioned by Lindsey Archaeological Services in advance of proposed development. The techniques used were magnetic susceptibility field sensing and magnetometry. Weak linear anomalies, probably of agricultural origin, were located in the northern part of the site. Further subtle anomalies in this part of the site may relate to other activity. Traces of possible pit like features were seen at the southern tip of the survey area, although these may not be of archaeological origin. {1}
