Description
Resistivity and magnetometry (see ELI7697) surveys were conducted to determine the archaeological implications of the proposed construction of new grain stores at Wold Grain Storage Ltd, Hemswell Cliff. Anomalies indicating a cut feature and an area of possible stone or masonry were identified. {1}{2}
Subsequent trial trenching revealed the cut feature to be of natural origin. No traces of masonry were seen (see ELI7698).
