An archaeological watching brief was conducted during groundworks for the construction of a new house on land off Lincoln Road, Faldingworth. Extensive modern disturbance was revealed across the site, although the remains of a late 19th century well was recorded. Residual medieval finds were also recovered, with the assemblage comprising 5 sherds of pottery and 1 piece of roof tile, all dating from the 13th to 15th centuries. {1}{2}
