Description

A surface collection survey was carried out along the western end of a proposed gas pipeline route. The geophysical survey grid was utilised to lay out two transects along the pipeline route through each field, excluding fields 1 and 2, due to land use. As a rule, transects were 5m apart, but this varied accroding to the topography of the field. Some fields were planted with young crops, limiting ground visibility. No archaeologically significant finds were retrieved. {1}
