Description
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during the machine stripping of topsoil as part of a scheme to extend Ancaster Quarry. The watching brief monitored the removal of topsoil over a total area of approximately 0.55 hectares. No material or deposits of archaeological significance were identified during the watching brief. {1}{2}
