Description

An archaeological watching brief undertaken during ground work prior to the erection of residential premises on land at the corner of Scotgate and West Street, Stamford. The groundwork for the building footings, excavated to a depth of 1.4m, did not cut below modern builder's rubble. No archaeological deposits, features or finds were identified {1} {2}
