Description
Trial trenching was carried out on circa 5ha of land as part of a programme of evaluation, in order to investigate anomalies detected by a previous geophysical survey. Three trenches were excavated: - Trench 1 measured 15m by 2m, Trench 2 measured 10m by 2m, and Trench 3 measured 19.5m by 2m. No archaeological finds or features were recorded. {1}{2}
