Description
A fluxgate gradiometer survey was carried out on two areas of land at the junction of the A15 with the A1500. Area 1 measured 200m by 30m, and was located to the north of the A1500. Area 2 measured 150m by 30m and was located to the south of the A1500. Although anomalies of potential archaeological significance were detected, interpretation has proved difficult, due to the alignment of the anomalies along the short axis of the survey grid. This meant that only small sections of the features were detected, reducing the likelihood of revealing any distinct morphological characteristics.{1}
