Description
A site visit was undertaken in March 2017 at Skillington on the site of a proposed quarry. No evidence for archaeological features was visible. {1}
Follow up geophysical survey (ELI14679) and trial trenching (ELI14680) schemes recorded Iron Age, Roman, and Early Medieval occupation.
