Description

A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted on groundworks for the installation of new French drains and other repairwork at the Church of St James, Woolsthorpe. A site sequence of topsoil over more than 1m of made ground, from which two sherds of 18th-19th century ceramic were recovered, was recorded. No archaeologically significant features, deposits or finds were encountered. {1}{2}
