A geophysical survey was conducted in September 2024 in advance of a proposed residential development of 147 dwellings with associated garages, roads, drainage, and banks with landscaping. A small number of anomolies may have been identified relating to linear features and ridge and furrow, although overall the site was considered archaeologically quiet. {1} Archaeological surveys to the north (ELI14584) have identified alluvial deposits which may explain the poor geophysical survey results.
