Description
Two trial trenches were excavated to inform proposed extensions to the Science Block at Stamford School, Brazenose Lane, Stamford. Late post-medieval dumped deposits were noted across the site, with a single modern pit in the eastern trench also identified, but no archaeologically significant features, deposits or finds were encountered. {1}{2}
