Description
A scheme of magnetometry geophysical survey was undertaken at land to the east of Thornton Road, South Kelsey in June 2017 as part of planning for the construction of four dwellings. Despite the presence of ditches and ridge and furrow to the west (ELI8795), the site appeared relatively quiet. Possible wheel ruts, and an amorphus area of response were recorded on the site, but no definitively archaeological features. {1}
