A magnetometry geophysical survey was undertaken in August 2021 on three parcels of land west of Mallows Lane, and north of Littlemoor Lane in advance of a proposed solar farm. The results were limited, possibly due to the underlying alluvial deposits, but an area of 19th century demolition was recorded. Trenching in the field to the immediate north recorded enclosures and other archaeology, so the underlying soils should be considered when assessing the results of this geophysical survey. {1}
