Description
A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted during groundworks associated with the construction of a new swimming pool at 33 Gainsborough Road, Lea. The remains of foundations for a 20th century glasshouse which formerly occupied part of the site were noted, but no archeologically significant features, deposits, or finds were encountered. {1}{2}
